Ayesha Khanna is an innovation expert, advising governments and companies on emerging technologies, industry, smart cities, and future skills. She spent more than a decade on Wall Street advising product innovation teams developing large scale trading, risk management and data analytics systems
Ayesha is CEO of ADDO, a data science and artificial intelligence advisory firm that helps companies to optimise and grow. Previously, she served on the Singapore Ministry of Education’s Steering Committee for future skills and applied learning. She is currently completing her PhD on smart cities at the London School of Economics.
She has also been working as Director of Technology Quotient, an advisory firm specialising in building innovation ecosystems for new industries using robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and fintech.
Ayesha was Co-founder of Keys Global, a pioneering education centre whose unique model of “externships” with leading companies provides students the opportunity to apply their skills to critical 21st century industries. In 2014, she served on the Singapore Ministry of Education’s ASPIRE Steering Committee that developed a blueprint for transforming the national higher education system towards innovative industries.
She co-founded the Hybrid Reality Institute, a research and advisory group established to analyse emerging technologies and their social, economic and political implications. She directed the Future Cities Group at the London School of Economics and has been a Faculty Advisor at Singularity University. She has been published and quoted on technology, innovation and smart cities in The New York Times, BusinessWeek, TIME, Newsweek, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Strategy+Business, and Foreign Policy.
Ayesha also gives executive workshops in fintech trends, and the impact of technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. She is the author of Straight Through Processing and co-author of Hybrid Reality: Thriving in the Emerging Human-Technology Civilization.

Ayesha is on the Board of Advisors for Humanity+, a Fellow at the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies, and was the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of EGO Magazine (2004-2011), one of the first arts and culture magazines for the South Asian diaspora in New York City. She is the Founder of 21C GIRLS, a project that delivers free technology classes for school girls in Singapore.
Ayesha has a BA (honors) in Economics from Harvard University, an MS in Operations Research from Columbia University and is completing her PhD on urban information infrastructures at the London School of Economics.
