Nic Askew

An experience profoundly woven into your conference which enables participants to be fully present, engaged, open to learning and deeply connected with each other …

Nic Askew is a film maker who discovered a profound way to use the camera to cause people to become significantly more aware. He has been described as an itinerant confessor, a disruptive influence, a monk independent of any religion and an explorer of the Inner World.

He has worked with some of the world’s leading organizations to include, Georgetown University, Harvard Business School, Apple, The Inner Game Institute, Young Presidents Organization, Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Center For Leadership Philanthropy, Medtronic, MacArthur Foundation, MIT Entrepreneurial Forum and many more. His method has given a profound visibility to both leaders and the seemingly ordinary person who it turns out is each a haunting reflection of us all.

The underlying focus of all keynote and program engagements is on a felt experience of inner potential, deep human connection and our capacity to make a greater positive impact on the world around us.

The work with and without the camera has been described as sitting in the experience of an unyielding awareness. This experience allows both the subject and audience to see with clear perception, give conscious voice to important things and access an extraordinary source of insight.

The interior world defines much of the experience and performance of a life. Our potential lies deep.

These engagements are a visceral exploration of these depths and of this potential. As such it is education from a completely different origin point. Not from the stage to the floor but from one’s own inner experience to oneself. For it is here that transformation occurs.

For close to two decades Nic Askew has sat utterly still with countless people in front of his camera, and over time it became increasingly clear that there’s another way. A way to tear down the walls that exist between people and in doing so, expose us to the human soul and a common humanity, and an awareness that we belong to each other.

It also became clear that this very same way exposes us to a conscious flow of insight and life-force that causes us to act differently, and to speak with an entirely courageous voice. It’s this voice that his films have emerged.

This Inner View Method has given rise to the acclaimed Soul Biographies Film Series, an experience of human presence viewed by millions.

The sharing of this experience has transformed the relationship countless people have with themselves and those around them.

A profoundly unique experience using unconventional means, causing unconventional effect.

  • Using selected pieces from two decades of filming the human soul, monochrome photographic portraits and profoundly piercing words focusing on human connection, authenticity and insight – made relevant to the event
  • Can include the live cinematic inner exploration of subjects projected to large scale screens, as a demonstration of authenticity, insight, connection and who we are.
  • Tailored focus for each audience (e.g. culture, inclusion, creativity, leadership)
  •  45 minutes to half day formats

This is an absolutely unique experience which does not exist elsewhere. An exploratory call with Nic is recommended to get a very real sense of the effect and work out if it would be suitable for your audience. Here are some of the topics Nic can offer but of course a bespoke option is available.

ATTENTION: The revolutionary act of unconditional attention and how it can change how we live and work together.

RECONNECTION: How to reconnect to the soul and to our capacity for intuitive intelligence and its transformational insight.

IMPACT: What humanity could be and our part in it – an exploration of our own inner potential.

PEACE: How to be at peace in one’s own skin and the extraordinary transformation that occurs thereafter.

“If I were to hold just one wish for humanity, it is that we remember our innate capacity to experience each other without condition. Such a shift in awareness might resolve many of the towering predicaments of this age and of our own lives.” – Nic Askew Soul Biographies
